A sector of a circle is the region formed by two radii and the arc of the circle between them.

Area of a Sector

The area of a sector of a circle of radius rr which has angle xx at the centre is given by:

x360πr 2 \frac{x}{360} \pi r^2

Perimeter of a Sector

The perimeter of a sector of a circle of radius rr which has angle xx at the centre is given by:

2r+x180πr 2 r + \frac{x}{180} \pi r
